Relation: Hidden Sand Village
Chiyo, along with her brother Ebizou is the honorable sibling from the Sand Village. She is also the grandmother of Sasori. Though a poison expert from the Sand Village, she was unable to create an antidote for Sasori's poison. She learn many philosophies from different countries and was the one to merge the Bijuuu with Gaara. She dislike outside help, especially from Konoha. She admit that what he did in the past was meant to help the village but turns out to be a mistake and vow to do the right thing from now on. She kept promised on her word and use her forbidden regeneration technique to bring Gaara back from the dead. In doing so, she must give up her life in return for another.
