Yakushi Kabuto

Acting as a ninja from the Leaf Village, Kabuto is a actually a spy from the Hidden Sound Village and Orochimaru's so called right hand man. He was actually a spy for Sasori before working for Orochimaru. He was put under a controlling technique by Sasori to find information about Orochimaru whereabout, because Sasori despise Orochimaru. Though he failed the Chunin selection exam 7 time, he is actually very powerful, capable of Jonin level abilities. He can use medical jutsu and capable of stopping chakra flow using his medical skill. During those 7 times at the Chunin, he used his information gathering skills to gather Information about the Leaf Village and powerful ninjas in the village, mostly for Orochimaru. At the beginning of the Chunin exam, he acts like a friendly person, being nice to the rookie Genins of the Leaf Village. His current mission is to spy on Akatsuki and the Hidden Leaf Village, while Orochimaru trains Sasuke.

Yamanaka Ino

Ino is part of Asuma's team 10 group of Genins along with Chouji and Shikamaru, or the Ino-Shika-Cho team, much like her father's team. Ino is the long time best friend of Sakura. though best friends, they are also very close rivals, awkwardly because they both have a crush on Sasuke. Ino has the ability to control ones mind. During her battle with Sakura in the third stage preliminaries of the Chunin exam, Ino used her mind control technique to cause Sakura to quit.

Yamato

Yamato is the codename given to him by Tsunade. He was hand-picked from ANBU by Tsunade to lead the new Team 7 to meet Sasori's subordinate at the Heaven and Earth Bridge. He remove his ANBU mask when he was given a codename to lead Sakura, Sai, and Naruto. He's been an ANBU since the Third Hokage was in charge. He solves problem using diplomacy, not adverse to using fear against people. He inherited the First Hokage's DNA, the ability to use wood element and control Bijuu. He was implanted with the First DNA during Orochimaru's experiment to gain the First power. He was the only survival of the experiment out of six children. His elemental nature is Earth and Water. When combining the two elements, he is able to use Mokuton, or tree jutsu.

Yuuhi Kurenai

A Jonin level ninja, Kurenai is the leader Jonin of team 8 Genins consisting of Shino, Hinata, and Kiba. She is often seen walking together with Asuma. She is very good at genjutsu and so far, we only see her use genjutsu.

Yuura

Yuura Status: Deceased

Yuura is a jounin who served on the Sand's council for four years. He's also a spy, under the control of Sasori, who help Sasori and Deidara infiltrate the Sand Village unnoticed. He was in charged of border security. He was given portion of Itachi's chakra to fight Kakashi, Sakura, Chiyo, and Naruto, using an Akatsuki's shape shifting technique but lost and body was disposed by Zetsu.
