Every hidden villages in every countries have a Team. A team is usually made up of 3 Genin, 2 boys and 1 girl and the sensei is a Jounin. Team participate in mission together and are trained together under the guidance of their Jounin.

Kakashi Team

Kakashi Team Kakashi Hatake: Kakashi became a Genin when he was around 6 years old and a Jounin around 8 years old. He received the Sharingan from Obito before his death. Because he is not the true hier to the Sharingan, the Sharingan power is limited and make him tire faster. He taught the world of Obito to his 3 student and that he put great emphases on teamwork. His greatest rival is Guy and the score is Guy 50 wins to Kakashi's 49 wins. His was a child genius like the Fourth, Orochimaru and the Third.
Sasuke Uchiha: Sasuke activated his Sharingan when fighting Haku in the Wave Country. He dislike and like a lot of things but his dream is to kill a certain person and that person is Uchiha Itachi, his brother, after killing everyone in his clan. Because of that dream, he will power to kill his brother no matter what it takes. He finally seek Orochimaru for power and officially became a Missin Ninja. He's more of an independent person and a child genius like his sensei.
Sakura Haruno: Sakura childhood friend and rival is Ino but rival only for the heart of Sasuke. She cares a lot about her team. Her ninja information gathering and analyzing are great but her jutsu are not, though she has perfect Chakra control. Sometimes she feel like a nuisance to her team and finally seek Tsunade to be her apprentice.
Naruto Uzumaki: They Demon Fox was sealed in Naruto's body when he was just born by the Fourth. Because he grew up without knowing the value of love and parents, he would pull pranks to make people recognize him. After being recognize by Iruka, he became a Genin and vow to someday surpass all the previous Hokage and get the title. He is very rational in his thinking and doesn't make correct decision sometimes. Though he is not a boy genius like Sasuke, he is able to come up with great ideas, even if they are odd at times. His rival is Sasuke, and Konohamaru for the title Hokage. He later train under Jiraiya.

Kurenai Team

Kurenai Team Hinata Hyuga: Hinata is from the Hyuga Head Family and her father is Hyuga Hiashi and cousin is Hyuga Neji. She likes Naruto and tend to blush and faint when she is near him. She is very shy, timid and quiet. After her fight against Neji, her personality began to change a little as she became more open.
Kiba Inuzuka: Kiba's best friend is Akamaru which they have been together since they both were little. He was part of the rebellious group of Chouji, Naruto and Shikamaru who broke ninja rules and skipped class.
Kurenai Yuhi: Kurenai became a Jonin before the Chunin Exam (1st when series started). She is most known for her genjutsu ability. She can be seen walking around with Asuma a lot of the time.
Shino Aburame: Shino is the son of Shibi Aburame and member of the Aburame Clan, who has the ability to control bugs. In return for using the bugs to fight his battle, he lend his Chakra as food for the bugs. He is very serious about things.

Guy Team

Gai Team Tenten: Tenten mostly use scroll and weapons as her main attack. She act as a training partner for both Neji and Lee.
Rock Lee: Lee cannot use any genjutsu or ninjutsu. His specititley is taijutsu, which is using his body (hand-hand combat) to fight. He also like Sakura. He looks exactly like his sensei, Gai. He is able to open 5 Celestial Gates.
Guy Maito: Guy's greatest rival is Kakashi but their battle usually involve guessing games and rock-paper-scissor. He would make dumb punishment for himself if he loses to Kakashi. His specititley is taijutsu but he can also do ninjutsu and genjutsu (?).
Neji Hyuga: Neji belongs to the Hyuga Branch Family and his father is Hyuga Hizashi and cousin is Hyuga Hinata. He was the number 1 rookie last year (start of series) and a boy genius like Sasuke. He's able to learn and use taijutsu known to only the Head Family. He can be quite serious and always like to perfect things.

Asuma Team

Asuma Team Asuma Sarutobi: Asuma is a Jounin and his specititley is his Knuckle Buster. He can be seen walking around with Kurenai. He always take Chouji out for barbeque. He smoke all the time.
Choji Akimichi: His father is Choza. Choji was part of the rebellious group of Kiba, Naruto and Shikamaru who broke ninja rules and skipped class. His best friend is Shikamaru. He love to eat snake, well basically everything because he is always hungry. Though he is lazy, he could get quite serious and got crazy. He trains harder if he know he Asuma will treat him to barbeque.
Shikamaru Nara: His father is Shikaku. Shikamarau was part of the rebellious group of Choji, Naruto and Shikamaru who broke ninja rules and skipped class. His best friend is Choji. He is very lazy and doesn't like to do things and think that women are troublesome. He just like to lay down and stare at the clouds. Though he is lazy and gets bad grade, he is a genius. He scored a 200 on his IQ Test. He was promoted to Chunin then Academy Teacher.
Ino Yamanaka: Her father is Inochi. Her best friend and rival is Sakura, rival to see who will get Sasuke. She doesn't like to fight much.

Ebisu Team

Ebisu: Ebisu is a Special Jonin. He is also known as the Closet Pervert according to Naruto. He taught Naruto to walk on water. He's 1 or 4 people in the Leaf Village who wears glasses.
Udon: Udon wears glass and google on his forehead. He is usually seen walking around with Moegi and Konohamaru. And he always has snot coming out from his nose.
Moegi: Moegi is usually seen walking around with Udon and Konohamaru.
Konohamaru: Konohamaru is the grandson of the Third Hokage. He was name after the village Konoha. He learn the Sexy Jutsu from Naruto but soon declare Naruto as his rival for the title of Hokage. Konohomaru is usually seen walking around with Udon and Moegi.

Baki Team

Baki: Baki is from the Sand Village in the Wind Country. He sided with the Sound Village to invaded the Leaf Village because of the low Ninja present in the village and the peace treaty was as good as the word written on it.
Temari: Temari is the daughter of the Fourth Kazekage from the Sand Village. She is seen everywhere carrying with her 3 stars fan. She really wanted to become a Chunin but never got the chance because she participated only to destroy the Leaf Village.
Gaara: Gaara is the son of the Fourth Kazekage from the Sand Village. His father place the power of the Shukaku inside him. His father tried to assassinate him because his power was getting to strong but he failed. He ambition is to fight and killed those that stand in his ways and kill people in order for him to recognize his existence.
Kankuro: Kankurou is the son of the Fourth Kazekage from the Sand Village. He is a puppet master. He is afraid of Gaara's personality whenever he is near him. He's always eager to fight.

Sound Team

Abumi Zaku: Zaku was recruited by Orochimaru when he was a child. He was stealing from people in order to survive and could never defend himself from mugger. Because he think Orochimaru will give him power and Orochimaru will recognize his power, he went with Orochimaru. He was used by Orochimaru to test Sasuke's power. He death is unknown.
Tsuchi Kin: Kin was recruited by Orochimaru to do his dirty work. She enter the Chunin Exam to test Sasuke power but was later kill. Her death is unknown.
Kinuta Dosu: Dosu was recruited by Orochimaru to do his dirty work. He was put in the Chunin Exam to test Sasuke power. He was later killed while facing Gaara alone on top of a roof top.

Sound Five

Jirobo: Jirobo was recruited by Orochimaru and given the cursed seal. His objective was to bring Sasuke's body to Orochimaru to be the next host. He was killed by Chouji.
Sakon/Ukon: Sakon was recruited by Orochimaru and given the cursed seal. His objective was to bring Sasuke's body to Orochimaru to be the next host. Sakon has a brother name Ukon who lives inside him. He was killed by Kankurou.
Tayuya: Tayuya was recruited by Orochimaru and given the cursed seal. Her objective was to bring Sasuke's body to Orochimaru to be the next host. She was killed by Tayuya.
Kidomaru: Kidoumaru was recruited by Orochimaru and given the cursed seal. His objective was to bring Sasuke's body to Orochimaru to be the next host. He was killed by Neji.
Kimimaro Kaguya: Kimimaro is from the Kaguya Clan. His bloodline is the ability to manipulate bones structure. After his Clan was whipped out, Orochimaru recruited him to be his next host. He has some sort of disease and couch out blood. He was order to bring Sasuke's body for Orochimaru but was killed by Gaara.
